Kevin Bennett - Owner

Kevin brings a unique blend of discipline, leadership, and hands-on expertise to every project he undertakes. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Kevin served over five years in the Marine Corps, including deployments to Southeast Asia and Afghanistan, where he trained Afghan Border Police and served as a NATO joint logistics officer. His commitment to service extended beyond the military, where he worked with Doctors Without Borders in the Democratic Republic of Congo, managing the construction and logistics for emergency treatment facilities during measles, cholera, and Ebola outbreaks.

In 2015, Kevin founded The Hilts Group with a focus on quality craftsmanship and client collaboration. Since then, he has led a wide variety of residential projects—from new construction and additions to comprehensive interior renovations. Kevin remains deeply involved in each project, serving as the lead carpenter and working side-by-side with subcontractors to ensure the highest standards are met.

Jacob is an enthusiastic carpenter with a knack for asking questions and learning on the fly. He is attentive to every detail and process throughout the different phases of building a home. He often gets fired up over any challenge and brings a great sense of humor to the job sites.
